America subsidizes junk food way too much. The US has spent $19.2 billion subsidizing junk food ingredients since 1995. Two of these ingredients are corn and soy. They are used in most processed foods. As a result, junk food is pretty cheap.

It’s easy to see why junk food is everywhere in our daily lives. It’s much more cheaper to produce than healthy foods. I mean it’s great tasting and all, but it’s definitely not good for your health.
